I’m aged like fine wine, or at least I like to think so. lol Even if the bottle is showing a bit of wear, it’s what’s on the inside that matters, right? On the inside, I think we are only as old or young as we feel and think. I think my mind and energy is young, at least that is what I’ve been told. I have super-high energy, love to learn, brainstorm, and enjoy the experience of new projects. I like challenges, and thrive on multi-tasking, visualizing the big picture, and problem solving. I work well with all ages and enjoy diversity in projects and people.
Plus, there is an advantage that comes with age which is lots of experience. I can still push myself to meet a deadline (like staying up to the wee hours to make this website because I wanted to do something different and creative in applying for this job.) I’d like to share and benefit others with my experience, and knowledge, as I learn and work as a team player.

So, there you have it! I’m not in my 20’s anymore. And I’m not in my 30’s any more. Okay! You dragged it out of me. I’m not in my 40’s anymore, either. And the biggest problem with that is I might occasionally let my mind slip into a time warp by saying things like “oh, that’s cool,” and “dude!” Of course, not all the time but I can’t guarantee it might not verbally happen. My husband (just celebrated eight years), who is from the Midwest, laughs when he hears my era-slips that show my California (Bay Area) upbringing. I lived there for 30 years before moving to the Midwest. I, also, used to spend my summers in New York and Connecticut visiting my dad. Beware! You may never know when I might say something that will surprise you with a word or sentence that picked up in travel or in a decade. Sometimes I surprise myself. 😮 I guess this makes me a communication-eclectic. 🙂
In conclusion, I know I didn’t have to reveal my age here, but I wanted you to know because I know you have a target audience. Having team members that can reach and identify to that target is important. I wanted you to know that although I may not be in the target age range, that I have strengths; and I think I can imagine my way there, and visualize what is needed. That is one of my gifts is being able to put myself in another’s shoes, and fully imagine it. I can do that with businesses and marketing, too. I may not be as young as all the bright and shiny stars @JasmineStar; however, I do feel like I have a lot to contribute, and my star is still shining bright, even if I don’t always know the most recent “cool” lingo….. or maybe I do 🙂 I know it sounds corny (which btw I am) but I like to think we are all shiny stars and together, with all our own uniqueness, and with that we make a beautiful place and build dreams together.

I sure hope we get to celebrate soon! Will we? #RootingforRyn #WinWithRyn #TotallyTeamJasmine #WishingUponAJasmineStar
